Hello My Name Is...

Vivian Chaij

I was born in Argentina and both of my parents are Middle Eastern. I moved to New York when I was thirteen years old. I met my husband in New York. He is originally from Turkey. We married in 2000 and moved to Georgia in 2001. We have three beautiful and healthy children, a girl and two boys. I have been teaching since 1996. I taught Pre-K for three years, First Grade for fifteen years, Fourth Grade for five years, and Fifth Grade for one year. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology. I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Bilingual Extension and a Specialist Degree in Brain Based Instruction. I really enjoy teaching because I love children. I love teaching in the Dual Immersion Program because I am amazed at how malleable children's brains are and how easily they can acquire knowledge.
