Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are delighted that the Douglas County School System will be able to supply every student with a Chromebook or laptop for the upcoming school year through the new One-to-One technology initiative.

Much like a textbook, students will be responsible for the device and required to return it at the end of the school year.

Your school will reach out to you regarding a time for you to check out a device. Parents will be required to fill out paperwork and pay a $25 technology fee for each device upon check out. The fee will cover minor repairs, replacement of batteries and other costs associated with electronic devices.
